Administrative Professionals' Day (previously known as Secretary's Day) is an unofficial secular holiday. It is to recognize the work of clerical employees such as administrative assistants, receptionists, paralegals, etc.
Many employers and supervisors arrange events to show their appreciation of the work carried out by administrative professionals, to highlight their importance to the organization and to enhance their work-related skills.
It is celebrated as part of a larger Administrative Professionals Week.
