2012 Burning Man Festival, Black Rock Desert, Nevada, USA. This image captured the once a year event, where thousands of participants gather in the Black Rock Desert in northern Nevada, to create Black Rock City, dedicated to community, art, self-expression, and self-reliance.

The event starts on the last Monday in August, and ends on the first Monday in September. The 2012 Festival had over 50,000 participants. The ‘city’ is a series of concentric streets in an arc with the Man Sculpture at the very center.
